SUMMARY: The USA Northeast Province is seeking an Advancement Associate to provide administrative support to the Vice President for Advancement and Communications and all philanthropy officers to ensure the success of new advancement initiatives as a “donor centered” culture is developed. These initiatives include a capital campaign, special events and the creation of new donor giving circles. Complementing these efforts, the Advancement Associate provides administrative support by anticipating timely and effective administrative tasks that support the needs of the advancement staff including but not limited to dynamic communications with province ministries and donors.
JOB TITLE: Director of Formation (The Office for Ignatian Spirituality USA Northeast and Maryland Jesuit Provinces)
LOCATION: Flexible (East Coast)
SUMMARY: The Office of Ignatian Spirituality is a division of the USA Northeast and Maryland Jesuit Provinces which promotes the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius across the two east coast provinces of the Society of Jesus through training, formation, and networking of Jesuits, laypersons, clergy, and religious. The Director of Formation will be responsible for the development, oversight, and networking of training programs in both English and Spanish for spiritual directors and for retreat presenters in the USA Northeast and Maryland Provinces. Extensive travel is required. The ideal candidate will have superior skills in management, data gathering and analysis, and communications, as well as extensive knowledge and experience in Ignatian spirituality, the Spiritual Exercises, and training spiritual directors and/or retreat presenters.
