June 15, 2016 - On June 11, the Most Reverend Terrence T. Prendergast, SJ, Archbishop of Ottawa, ordained Jesuits Christopher Ryan and Kevin Spinale at the Fordham University Church. They were among the 20 Jesuits ordained priests in the U.S. and Canada at ceremonies this month.
June 15, 2016 - “Jesuits Transforming Lives,” the 2015 annual report publication published by the USA Northeast Province, was awarded First Place in the Best Annual Report for a Catholic Nonprofit Organization category of the 2016 Catholic Press Awards, sponsored by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada (CPA).
June 14, 2016 - Finding God in the Middle East: Jesuit scholastic Dan Corrou spent three years working with the Jesuits in the Middle East Province, where he would come to help refugees from Syria. He wrote a reflection for JESUITS magazine on how this experience helped strengthen his vocation and call to serve those on the margins.

Jesuit Superior General Father Adolfo Nicolás, SJ, spent his 80th birthday week in El Salvador with provincials from Canada, the U.S., and Latin America to discussing issues from the needs of migrants and educational opportunities for the poor to environmental protection, and the rights of native people.
