Welcome The Needy

That all those who are afflicted, especially the poor, refugees, and marginalized, may find welcome and comfort in our communities.

In his second prayer video of 2017, Pope Francis spoke on his intention of welcoming the needy. “Great sections of the population are excluded and marginalized: without a job, without options, without a way out. Don’t abandon them,” said Pope Francis. He talked about more attention can be paid to major real estate developments while the needs of people are forgotten. “Pray with me for all those who are afflicted, especially the poor, refugees, and marginalized, may find welcome and comfort in our communities.”
