The following list reflects the USA Northeast Province Jesuit communities and Ignatian ministries that are located in the New Jersey-Long Island Region.
Brooklyn Jesuit Prep (BJP) is a Nativity model middle school for low-income students. BJP provides an excellent Jesuit education to the children they serve with the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Their program includes a strong academic program, a mandatory month-long Summer Leadership Program on the campus of Fairfield University and a Graduate Support Program to support graduates through high school and college. Families pay a modest tuition and over 90% of BJP’s operating budget is raised from donors who believe in the school’s mission.

The Community Residence in Brooklyn goes back to the closing of Brooklyn Prep, when the Jesuits of St. Ignatius Parish needed a place to live. Since then St. Ignatius Parish closed. In returning to Brooklyn the Jesuits and colleagues discerned a need to support existing ministries rather than starting new ones. The Jesuits of Brooklyn collaborate in a wide range of ministries from education to pastoral work, writing and administration.

Loyola Jesuit Center (LJC) is located on over thirty acres of beautiful lawns, gardens and woodlands in a quiet section of Morristown in northern New Jersey. Since 1927, LJC has been a refuge, a peaceful oasis for quiet and prayer, a place where people of all ages and cultures and from all walks of life come to find healing, hope and clarity for their lives. Their purpose is to meet people where they are on their spiritual journey and provide opportunities for the Holy Spirit to move them deeper in faith, illuminating their heart so that they enjoy peace. Refreshed and renewed, they return to their families and communities strengthened in faith with an excitement to bring God’s mercy, love and justice to the world.

The parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - St. Benedicta - St. Mary of the Assumption is a community of communities serving the people of God in Staten Island, NY. It has been entrusted to the Jesuits for the last fifteen years. They proudly serve the immigrant people from Mexico and other parts of the Americas. About 90% of parishioners are Spanish speaking members. All sacraments and pastoral ministry are bilingual, English and Spanish, making a welcoming place for Hispanics from all our Staten Island borough.
St. Aedan's is an urban, multi-ethnic parish associated with St. Peter's University, with a vibrant liturgical/musical music program and a deeply committed social justice program. The parish is served by one Jesuit administrator/pastor, with weekly help from three other Jersey City Jesuit priests and a dedicated group of lay women and men connected to the various national communities of the parish (Filipino, Hispanic, Indian and American.)
Founded in 1927 and staffed by the Jesuits since 1978, St. Anthony's is a large suburban parish located in southwestern Nassau County. They are a Catholic community of faith in the Jesuit tradition gathered around Jesus Christ and centered in the Eucharist. In a diverse and changing world, where people struggle to grow in their relationship with God and one another, they walk with Jesus of the Gospels who reveals God's love for all.

The Saint Peter’s Jesuit Community is a multi-apostolic community residing in three different locations in Jersey City. The 13 members principally minister at St. Peter’s Prep, Saint Peter’s University and Saint Aedan’s Church, all in Jersey City, in a variety of occupations: from administrators to teachers and pastoral ministers. Most in the community also serve the local churches of New Jersey as weekend assistants in parishes, spiritual directors, engaging in social justice advocacy and interreligious dialogue, and as members of not-for-profit boards of trustees.
Saint Peter’s Prep is a Catholic, Jesuit college preparatory school which seeks to form young men of competence, conscience and compassion. Both enriched and challenged by its diversity, Prep is a community of learners seeking to find God in all things. The academic, athletic, co-curricular, spiritual and service programs aim to foster in students an understanding of the world and the courage to advance the common good.
