Following two years of study and apostolic service, four Jesuit novices of the Maryland and USA Northeast Provinces pronounced first vows on Saturday, Aug. 10.

August 8, 2019 - More than 700 people from all over Western New York and from every part of the country attended the second annual IggyFest, held on the Feast of St. Ignatius, July 31, 2019, at St. Michael’s Place in Downtown Buffalo.

Aug. 5, 2019 - Br. Sebastian Boccabella, SJ, was called to eternal life on Aug. 4, 2019, at Murray-Weigel Hall, Bronx, N.Y. He was born on Sept. 4, 1931, and entered the Society of Jesus at St. Andrew-on-Hudson, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on July 14, 1950. He pronounced his final vows on Feb. 2, 1962, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

August 5, 2019 - This month Pope Francis is asking us to join him in praying for families and the role that they play in teaching future generations. "Let us pray that families, through their life of prayer and love, become ever more clearly 'schools of true human development'."

July 31, 2019 - Today is the feast St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. In honor of his feast, the recently ordained Fr. Vinny Marchionni, SJ, created a video reflection on St. Ignatius, specifically in his role as a pilgrim.
