Remembering Jesuit Father Daniel J. Sullivan

Nov. 25, 2019 - Fr. Daniel J. Sullivan, SJ, was called to eternal life on November 22, 2019. Fr. Sullivan died at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. He was born on April 22, 1928, in Queens, N.Y., entered the Society of Jesus at St. Andrew-on-Hudson, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on August 14, 1950, and was ordained on July 26, 1961, in Innsbruck, Austria.  He pronounced his final vows on February 2, 1979 at Fordham University.

December 3, 2019 — Today is the feast day of St. Francis Xavier, SJ, one of the first Jesuits, who is considered by some to be the greatest missionary since the time of the Apostles.

Dec. 3, 2019, is Giving Tuesday, an opportunity for people to support organizations like our Jesuit province.
