April 22, 2020 - Today, April 22, is the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Society of Jesus. USA Northeast Provincial Fr. John Cecero, SJ, has written a letter about the significance of this day for Jesuits. Read his full letter and view his recorded video message below.

Dear Brothers and Friends in the Lord,

Happy Easter Season!

As we continue to live through this unprecedented challenging time, I would like to call our attention in an even more focused way to our longstanding tradition of honoring Mary, Mother of the Society of Jesus, and to request that we ask her with renewed fervor for protection, consolation, and inspiration.

To that end, I recorded this short video, hoping to use this virtual means to assure you of my daily thoughts and prayers, and to encourage turning to our Mother Mary for light and guidance through these dark days.

May the light of the Risen Lord shine in our hearts.

In Corde Jesu,

John J. Cecero, S.J.
