Jan. 24, 2017 - St. Peter’s University was one of 12 Jesuit institutions across the East coast praying for immigrants and other vulnerable communities on Jan. 19, the eve of President Trump’s inauguration. For St. Peter’s University, this prayer vigil was the first of three days spent lifting up their beloved community which includes so many immigrant students.

Robert Pecoraro, SJ, has been selected to serve as the interim president as the board of trustees conducts a national search for a permanent successor.
Jan. 11, 2017 - After completing a national search, the board of trustees of Nativity School of Worcester announced the appointment of Patrick T. Maloney as the new school president effective immediately. Maloney has served as the interim president since July 2016.
Jan. 11, 2017 - More than 650 people braved a winter snowstorm to celebrate Fr. James Keenan, SJ, Xavier High School’s legendary 29th president, as he marked his 80th birthday and 60th anniversary as a Jesuit on Jan. 7.
Jan. 11, 2017 - Next year, the Jesuit-educated Astronaut Jeanette Epps will make history by being the first African American to live and work aboard the International Space Station. Epps will leave the Earth's atmosphere in May 2018 and stay aboard the space station for six months.
