Ms. Kristin Cupillari (’87) was appointed to serve as Scranton Prep’s next principal, beginning July 1, 2018. After graduating from Prep, Ms. Cupillari went on to earn a BA in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross, an MFA in Dance from NYU, and an MA in Mathematics Education from Columbia University (Teachers College). She has served as a teacher and administrator in Jesuit high schools for 25 years, including 6 years at Regis High School and 18 years at Loyola School, both in New York City. She has served this year as Prep’s assistant principal.
Those who have come to know Ms. Cupillari over the past semester at Prep know well that she is the natural choice to serve as Prep’s next principal. She is an accomplished Jesuit educator and administrator. She has a keen intellect and a hearty sense of humor. She is both imaginative and practical and embodies what Prep hopes for in her graduates.
