Hallow App Lenten Prayer Series on Book by Walter Ciszek, SJ

This Lent, the Catholic prayer app Hallow will walk through the life-changing, spiritual classic by Fr. Walter Ciszek, SJ, He Leadeth Me. Fr. Ciszek was a Jesuit priest and missionary who was imprisoned for more than 20 years in the Soviet Union, first in solitary confinement and then in a Siberian gulag. Amidst some of the most brutal conditions imaginable, Fr. Ciszek underwent a profound spiritual journey, one that continues to inspire many today. He is especially beloved by the USA East Province since he was a Maryland Province Jesuit, born in Shenandoah, PA, entered the novitiate in Poughkeepsie, New York, and is buried at the Jesuit cemetery in Wernersville.

The Lenten prayer series will be guided by actor Mark Wahlberg; Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus on The Chosen; Fr. Mike Schmitz, host of the podcast Bible in a Year; Sr. Miriam James who is well-followed on YouTube; and Sr. Mary Bernice, a Missionary of Charity who served alongside Mother Teresa in Calcutta.
