Our Work

From our universities and schools, to prisons and outreach centers, to refugee camps in the poorest of nations, the Jesuits and their lay partners can be found “going where the need is greatest.” Here at home, we are most known for teaching, ministering and living the Jesuit mission of Ignatian Spirituality and service to others through our:

In 2019, Pope Francis gave a special mission to the Society of Jesus in the form of four Universal Apostolic Preferences that are intended to transform our focus for this decade:

  1. Promoting the Spiritual Exercises
  2. Walking with the excluded
  3. Journeying with youth
  4. Caring for our common home

Together as collaborators in the implementation of these preferences, we strive to grow in holiness and thereby engage more fruitfully in our worldwide mission of reconciliation and justice.
